Equine Studies and Horse Care Courses

The relationship between horse and rider has been of enduring importance since the were first domesticated in central Asia (probably earlier than 3500 B.C.) Traditionally the use of horses has been military and commercial, but in modern times this has moved to a stronger recreational purposes and competitive uses (sporting and non-sporting).

Whether you are a recreational rider, a stud owner or just love horses, understanding the care and wellbeing of horses is essential for top performance.

Our range of horse courses includes the three 100 hr Horse Care series, the longer Advanced Certificate which now has two electives of Horse Breeding or Equine Behaviour and our Associate Diploma which is recommended for those working full time in the horse industry or running their own equine enterprise.

All of our horse care courses are offered online or by correspondence (distance learning) and all come with unlimited tutor support by our equine studies tutors!
